Well, I'm home! I'm sure most of you already knew that, and if not, surprise! The tragedy occurred Saturday. We had gone out to the square that morning to contact, and we found someone who wanted to come to our basketball activity later in the afternoon! We had a big group of members and non-members there, it was loads of fun. I played hard! Well, too hard it turns out. I went up for a layup, made the shot (important detail), took some contact on the way down, landed on a bad angle, and CRACK! There goes my leg! The rehab time is 6-8 weeks, so they sent me home to heal. This will be my last update for a while.
Aside from that, we had a super successful week. We gave more church tours this week alone than the entire last transfer. We found a new investigator named Brian, he's already read through mid-Alma in the Book of Mormon! That's what I call solid!
I bid you all farewell for a time. I promise I will be back here in Seattle soon to finish my mission, there's no place I'd rather be. Thank you everyone for your support and prayers for my leg, it's been a pretty smooth process with no issues. All is well, all is well!
